Operation Hearn Helping Hands: Sharing Thanksgiving Support With Our Community

Thanksgiving is all about gratitude, community, and sharing a warm meal with the people we care about. This year, Hearn Plumbing, Heating & Air had the opportunity to turn that spirit of giving into meaningful action through Operation Hearn Helping Hands — a team-led effort that brought Thanksgiving dinner to 50 local families.
How the Idea Took Shape
The inspiration came from our Call Center Manager, Alyson, who discovered a thoughtful project on TikTok called “Thanksgiving in a Box.” The concept was simple: assemble complete Thanksgiving meal kits, include recipe cards, and make them available to families who could benefit from extra support during the holiday season.
When she shared the idea, our team knew immediately that it was something we wanted to bring to our community.
Creating and Delivering the Meal Kits
With everyone pitching in, our team assembled 50 full Thanksgiving meal kits. Each kit included all the traditional fixings needed to prepare a comforting holiday dinner. After packing the boxes, we delivered them to local Blessing Boxes so families could pick them up easily and privately.
